Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a remote position for candidates based in Canada. The ideal candidate will contribute to building and enhancing our core platform that empowers small businesses to establish and grow their digital footprint. You will be working directly with the founding team and an intern to develop and scale our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our AI-powered digital presence platform
• Collaborate closely with the founders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable TypeScript/React code following best practices
• Build and optimize Next.js applications deployed on Vercel
• Work with Supabase for database management and backend functionality
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to our intern
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Implement automated testing strategies to ensure robust software delivery
